Interview of Jack Hawley on Nov. 12, 2003. Jack begins with a description of how his grandfather, Lewis Dana Hill, first came to the lake. He recounts a semester, Spring of 1942, spent at the North Lovell School and summer jobs he had working for Roy Wilhelm, caddying at the golf course and the Fairburn family. Special mention is made of Oz Abbot and Ernest Adams. Transcribed by Irene St. Germain in 2010. |
