Interview with Ralston Bennett in Lovell, Nov. 17, 1980, about his work for Joseph Deering in the Saco River Valley as a trucker. Mr. Bennett began hauling logs for Deering in November of 1940, landing the logs on the river bank for the drive. Before Mr. Bennett finished work for Deering in 1956, his work changed to hauling sawn lumber from portable mills in the woods to Biddeford. Transcribed by Michael Chaney.
