Intentions of Marriage entered May 8, 1859 The following information was provided by Sumner Kimball and can be found in the William & Sarah Kimball Photo Album, located in the archival box labeled Kimball-Stanford Collection Box 2: [Auction Notice] Public Auction Will be sold at Public Auction Saturday March 2nd 1861 at two O'clock P.M. on the premises, all the household furniture belonging to the Subscriber Lovell Feb 25/61William B. Elder [Back of Auction Notice] The said William B. Elder whose signature is given on the opposite side of this sheet, was a tailor-doing the cutting of Mens and boys suits at this time in Lovell. Afterwards locating in Boston Mass. He left Massachusetts About 1892-going to Colorado where he lived till about A.D. 1900. Thence moved to Boise Idaho where he and his wife [Sarah M. (Kimball) Elder] made their house the remainder of their lives. He was born in Brownfield ME March 17th 1832-died in Boise Idaho May 25, 1914. His wife Sarah M. Kimball was born in Lovell died in Boise Idaho in 1906. This Auction took place where he had recently resided-being the buildings just opposite the side of the road from the Congregational Parsonage, Lovell Village and now occupied by Edw. Farrington-April 1916. |
