As we broke camp that year on August 16th, I feel quite sure that the picture was taken reasonably soon before we left. ...

   The "Kamp Kat Orchestra". In a letter to Fred Dallinger written by Arthur Stone on November 4, 1953 the picture is described to portray Dallinger "as a member of the famous Kamp Kat Orchestra. You were beating a tin pail, while I am banging together the covers in lieu of cymbals." The other two men in the picture are William Allison and Herbert Flint.
