Aircraft Observation Post - 2006.46.0002
The Aircraft Observation Post in West Lovell, used during World War II. The Ground Observers Corps served as aircraft spotters, and each town had an observation post which was manned by civilian volunteers. Lovell's post was in West Lovell and Bill Vinton was the area supervisor. The building was across the street from 738 West Lovell Road. Taken from Photo CD #2.
