Description |
Will Hurd, who was a Blacksmith in Lovell, standing by a cart in 1923. The photo was used in the publication "The Lovell News" with the following caption: "William Hurd (1868-1942) owned the blacksmith shop at the foot of Lovell Village and lived in the 1850 brick house built by Ammi Cutter. His son Ralph (1893-1972) built the automobile garage at the corner, which is now owned by Donald Chandler." Used in the Summer 2023 Newsletter. |
