Description |
In front of the D.W. True store, located on lawn at Millbank home (currently the home of Peter and Linda Gale). Written on the back is "Lovell-Maine. Winter 1887-1888, Deny Walker, John Hutchins, Otis True, The Team, Joe Parker." Used in the Fall 2011 Newsletter. According to Eleanor Walker's research, the store was built in 1887 by Jim Charles. In 1906 it was moved by Ben Russell "down at foot of hill - now Milo McAllister's property. Building burned in 1923 or 1924." |
