Group photo at the retirement party for Larry Fox as Fire Chief on Feb. 12, 2006. In front from left to right: Mark Moulton, Roger Woodward, Larry Fox. The photo was cropped to be used in the 2005 Annual Town Report to accompany the following dedication of the report to his service: "During his 40 years as a member of the department, he has served 20 as chief. As chief, Larry oversaw the construction of the Center Lovell Station and upgrades of the Village and North Lovell Stations. He has instituted a program to replace or upgrade obsolete and worn out equipment on a revolving schedule. Regular training has been provided as firefighters strive to work in a safer and healthier environment. These and many other improvements have resulted in increased and better trained membership to protect the citizens of our town. Many thanks to Larry for the service he has given day after day, year after year resulting in a department the town can be very proud of." Taken from Photo CD #4. |
