A series of 33 early photographs of Willowby Lodge, many dating before 1910, with comments by Frederic Sater. The original photo album is in Mr. Sater's possession. A print of the photos with the written comments can be found in the Willowby Lodge file under Buildings. Comments are as follows: 1. The property as it was when purchased by Mabel R. Hamnett who sole the property 3/31/1921 to Maude Waterford. The property had been known as the Joseph Smith Farm. The property appears on a map dated circa 1850. Note the willow tree. 2 - 6. My mother Velma Sater was given these photos of Willowby and was told they dated before 1910. Compare with Hamnett photo which does not show front porch. 7 - 9. Date and people unknown. 20 - 22. Continuation of Well series. 23 - 25. Garage under construction. View looking north - Note height of trees looking toward Kane and now Henderson property. 26 - 27.
